Graduation card 1
My friend, Jeannie came to my house Friday and we created this card. We both fell in love with the owl. Jeannie picked the paper and did the designing and I cut the images we did on the Cricut.
My Husband of 42 years and me on a Thanksgiving cruise November, 2008. We had a great time.

Day Reunion 6/28/09
The Day Family cousins have always been very close and we try to see each other often. This was a wonderful reunion and almost everyone was able to attend. I love you all.
Upon retiring from teaching, card making and scrapbooking became my favorite pasttime since my family is at work and school. My husband and I have a son, daughter-in-law and two grandchildren in a nearby town. We also have a daughter, son-in-law and one granddaughter in Gadsden. My family is the most important thing in my life next to God. Scrapping and creating fun paper items for them makes me feel as if I am with them even when I can't be. If you are bored or lonely consider scrapping.
Operating a Stampin' Up business from my home has given me many new friends. We share ideas and time together which makes work fun. Since I am not able to work outside my home, this business gives me a chance to feel somewhat active and useful. If my health were better, I would spend more time with the business. I plan to open an online store in 2010. I will post the name as soon as it is established.

Water Fall Card
My friend, Jeannie, showed me how to make this pull tag card. I made it for my granddaughters on Valentine's Day and one similar for my grandson. I love the pull tab and had fun making these. I plan on using this idea to make a sequence pull for granddaughter's diving pictures in her scrapbook. If you want step-by-step instructions for this card look on the Splitcoast Stampers web site listed in "My Favorite Places."
Trees
This card was made using one of my favorite Stampin' Up stamp sets. I love the trees and there are so many different ways to use them.
Double Stamping
This card was made using a background stamp and an individual rose stamp. I stamped the background first with rose red ink and then white. The individual rose is part of a double stamping stamp set and gives this look. Most cards can be made using different greetings and sentiments but with the same look. For instance, I think this would make a very pretty Mother's Day, birthday or thank you card also.
